Ah, she’s fantasizing about her brother. Is she realizing that he’s the only guy who’s really nice to her?

Probably, if not consciously, definitely subconsciously.
Correct answer is yes
What is it with wet places having terrible tiling patterns?! Pools, Showers, even the restroom floors in restaurant! There’s always several misplaced, miscoloured, or misaligned tiles wherever you look. Even in this image, it’s just a few shades of pink sprinkled randomly throughout the wall. Don’t get me wrong, this image does not upset me. In fact, I’m greatly impressed with the artist’s incredibly realistic depiction of how a tiled shower like this would look in real life. Overall 10/10 would rearrange.

Funnily enough, it took me quite a while to get these right. As this house was redesigned by their parents, it had to look like a pattern chosen by one of them (50-something year olds). How did they choose it? Did they each design a room? Was the father inclined towards it, or was he more reserved? Would that mean that the mother decorated the bathroom? And so on… which led to this (typical? or rather specific) tile design
I would have chosen different as well, had it been my house.
